Adriana de Matos Artwork
"I was born in Portugal where I studied Fine Arts - Painting. I visited Scotland for the first time when I was at school, and since that moment I decided it was where I wanted to be. Before moving to Scotland my work focused mostly on painting the Human figure, but after being absorbed into the Scottish landscape I started focusing on its local Wildlife, so it became my primary subject. I picked up my palette & canvas and started making portraits of animals and birds, and I have recently discovered the potential of drawing with traditional nib pen. I create affordable prints & framed illustrations of my works so that the Wildlife that fascinates me can become part of your home too." www.adrianadematos.com
